Here is another sandwich which you can make in 10 minutes. I just love the Quick Dinner Recipes. Its always rewarding when you can make a healthy and yummy dinner in 10 minutes.The more you include the color green in your plate, the more healthy it is. This recipe is the best way to make people eat spinach if they don't like it.
Serves : 2
Approximate Total Cost : $2.50
Ingredients
Spinach - 1/2 lb
Garlic - 2 cloves
Almonds or cashews - 10 pieces (Lightly toasted)
Water - 3 tablespoons
Any Cheese - 1/2 cup (I used Pecorino Romano)
Salt - to taste
Pepper - to taste
Sandwich Bread Slices - 8
Method
1. In a blender add the Spinach leaves, garlic, Almonds, cheese, salt, pepper and little bit of water. Blend well to form a creamy pesto paste.
2. Spread the pesto on the sandwiches and grill them in a panini maker. Serve hot!!!!
