One simple and healthy side dish for chapathis aand briyanis is cucumber Raita. I love to eat cucumbers this way. Its so relaxing and melts down all the spices that you eat. Its Cucumber mixed with yogurt!

Ingredients
Cucumber - 1 (peeled and chopped)
Salt - to taste
Pepper - to taste
Hing or asafetida - a pinch (optional)
Plain Yogurt - 1 cup
Water - 1/4 cup (I add water because my yogurt is very thick. If the yogurt is not thick then dont add water.)
Method
1. In a bowl add the chopped cucumber, yogurt, water , salt, pepper and hing.
2. Mix well and serve with Briyani or Chapathis.
